Who is Marji and what does she do?

 

Marji is a practicing sculptor, teacher and mentor who founded the open access studio with fellow sculptor Andrew Brown 2007. The studio was formerly known as Sussex Sculpture Studios, but was renamed Art Junction in 2020  to  focus on providing online material during the pandemic.

Who and what does Marji teach at Art Junction? 

 

.DRAWING & PAINTING PORTRAIT AND LIFE

This is a regular weekly session working on long poses from the life and clothed model. This is designed for painters and those who wish to have time to develop their drawings. 

FREE FORM 1-to-1 Sessions:

No matter your level, Marji can advise, mentor, and support you. With many years’ practical experience of the problems that students encounter in the studio, she has the comprehensive hands-on knowledge to quickly resolve issues and move projects forward. Whether you want to sculpt a portrait, your dachshund, your pet duck, a geometric figure, or a gargoyle, Marji can help. Marji is available Monday and Friday for 1 to 1 sessions.

MOULDING & CASTING:

Learn the complete process of resin casting from applying the first coat of silicone rubber to de-moulding and finishing your sculpture.
