About this course:

The human form is diverse and fascinating to sculpt. Mark will guide you from the bare armature to a finished 1/3 to 1/2  size sculpture working with the nude life model.

We will cover:

• Initial observations of pose
• How to interpret gesture in the pose
• Basic measurements
• Some anatomical pointers

Timetable:

Day 1 – Armature (if needed), observation, measurement and blocking out the volumes and forms

Day 2 – Gesture, balance and anatomy

Day 3 – Refining the silhouette

Day 4 – Detailing, head, hands and feet

Day 5 – Finishing
